Shipping policy

This Shipping Policy (“Policy”) governs the shipment and delivery of any items purchased from METROLUXE LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By finalizing your purchase, you (“Customer,” “you”) agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth below.


1. FULFILLMENT & PROCESSING TIME

All orders are subject to a professional handling and quality control period prior to dispatch.

  • Standard Processing: 2–3 business days (Monday – Friday, excluding U.S. Federal Holidays).

  • High-Volume Periods: During seasonal peaks or promotional events, processing may extend to 5 business days.

  • Fulfillment Notice: Processing time is distinct from transit time. An order is "fulfilled" once a tracking number is generated and the package is prepared for carrier pickup.

2. CARRIERS & SERVICE TIERS

We partner with global logistics leaders to ensure the integrity of your delivery.

Domestic (United States)

  • Primary Carrier: FedEx (2Day®, Ground®, Priority Overnight®, Standard Overnight®).

  • Alternative Carriers: UPS or USPS (at our discretion for PO Boxes or specific territories).

International (Rest of World)

  • Expedited: DHL Express Worldwide & UPS Worldwide Express®.

  • Standard: USPS Priority Mail International & USPS First Class Package International.


3. TRANSFER OF RISK & LIABILITY (INCOTERMS)

Upon the tender of the package to the shipping carrier, METROLUXE LLC fulfills its delivery obligation.

  • F.O.B. Shipping Point: The risk of loss, theft, or damage passes to the Customer the moment the carrier takes possession of the goods.

  • Non-Liability: METROLUXE LLC is not responsible for:

    • Delays caused by carrier operations or weather.

    • "Porch Piracy" or packages stolen after a confirmed "Delivered" status.

    • Packages seized, delayed, or destroyed by Customs authorities.

  • Insurance & Claims: Any claims for loss or damage during transit must be initiated by the Customer with the respective carrier. We will provide any necessary documentation to support your claim.


4. ADDRESS ACCURACY & NONDELIVERY

The Customer is responsible for providing an accurate and complete shipping address.

  • Verification: Our system may flag inconsistent addresses. Failure to respond to verification requests within 48 hours will result in order cancellation.

  • Rerouting: Once an order is processed, we cannot reroute packages.

  • Undeliverable Packages: If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, refusal of delivery, or failure to collect from a local hub:

    1. Reshipment: The Customer must pay new shipping fees.

    2. Partial Refund Option: At our discretion, we may offer a refund of 50% of the product value, minus the original shipping costs and any return-to-sender fees incurred.


5. INTERNATIONAL COMPLIANCE: DUTIES & TAXES

METROLUXE LLC operates on a DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) basis for international orders.

  • Import Obligations: You are the "Importer of Record." All import duties, VAT, brokerage fees, and local taxes are determined by your local customs office and are not included in the purchase price.

  • Refusal to Pay: If you refuse to pay customs fees and the package is abandoned or returned, no refund will be issued. * Documentation: We comply with federal law and will not undervalue shipments or mark items as "gifts" on customs forms.


6. TRACKING & DELIVERY CONFIRMATION

A shipping confirmation email with a tracking link will be sent automatically.

  • Status Lag: Please allow 24–48 hours for tracking information to update once the label is created.

  • Delivery Disputes: If your tracking says "Delivered" but you have not received the package, you must contact the carrier within 24 hours.

7. FORCE MAJEURE

METROLUXE LLC shall not be liable for any failure to deliver or delay in delivery caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: strikes, natural disasters, global pandemics, civil unrest, or failures of public infrastructure.
